Recently, I was asked to model for a friend building her new photography business. I had a blast!! Not only was she easy to work with, but her photos turned out great!! Cave Canum was a blast!!! I want to thank everyone who helped with set up or planning, who attended the show, or provided support throughout the whole process!! The BIGGEST thank you, however, goes to Professor Rhea Edge at Eureka College for inviting me to exhibit at her gallery, and being so hospitable from start to finish. I had an amazing time!! The first solo show after graduating was a success!! :] The art sale also went well, so thank you to those who participated!! Next on the list: head over to Sacred Art in Chicago to drop off artwork for them!! More updates soon! xoxx

Animal As Metaphor

The "Animal As Metaphor" Closing Reception is being held tonight at the Edna Carlsten Gallery located in the Noel Fine Arts Center of UW-Stevens Point!!! This exhibition features myself and seven other Alums of UWSP who use animal imagery as the vehicle for conceptual and expressive thought. The anthropomorphic themes allow us freedom to create progressive and contemporary art without compromising our voices. The narratives created in our work address local, global and personal issues that challenge viewers on multi-faceted levels. The Closing is from 5-7pm tonight, and I hope everyone is able to make it!
